As a rescuer, Kay has a passion for animals in need. She is involved in animal foster care as well as utilizes her platform to spread awareness of dogs in need of medical care, foster homes, and adoption. She is currently the Director of Advocacy for Yorkie Rescue of the Carolinas, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
