Yorkie Rescue of The Carolinas and Me
As Director of Advocacy for Yorkie Rescue of the Carolinas (YROC), I do a lot of tasks to advocate for our rescue doggos. Things like website maintenance, newsletters, graphics, contracts, fund-raising.. etc..
But I love it when I can foster. A few of these ended up as foster fails, I’ll admit. But that’s usually when they have too much trauma to let them bounce around, so it’s best to stay with us. I’m lucky I have a gentle hubby who after so many years, is finally as dog-crazy as I am!
Y’all might remember some of these but from top left to right:

Wow. Looking back at them I can remember a lot of first (tense) nights, pee puddles, medication, dog fights, belly bands, travel, and most of all… lots of cuddles and thankful kisses. It’s so rewarding to now see photos of some of them in their fur-ever homes and know I was able to be a part of uniting them in their happily ever afters.
Psst… in case you noticed some missing photos, I can’t count Riley Radcliffe, Hazel Bea, or Griffin because they weren’t originally fosters. But all are forever a part of the Bratt Pack. Thank you for always being so supportive and helping us to help them!
