Still Fighting!

Written by Kay on . Posted in About Xiao Gou, Orphanage Flashbacks

I’ve had a lot of emails asking for an update on Xiao Gou. What I can tell you right now is that she is still being advocated for and we hope to have very good news soon. She is doing well and still yearns for a family of her own. Please pray NOW that all the red tape will disintegrate and that can happen. Just as soon as I can, I’ll announce any great news. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support for her, she is a very special little girl. The following photo was taken earlier this year.

Oh my Kate…she is beautiful!! She really does need a family….I wa slaying in bed with my 6 year old Sierra last night. We were face t o face…eyes to eyes and she said to me, in a way so beyond her 6 years,.”Mommy….I am so glad that we found each other. We are perfect together!”
We will be saying many prayers for Xiao Gou!

It’s easy to see why you love her, she’s so beautiful. She has such a beautiful smile. I hate red tape and bureaucracy that keeps kids in squalor when they should home.

    Dianne,

The last news I had on Fuji was that she was operated on and was doing well. As for her status for adoption, I don’t have any concrete information on that. I have inquired, but so far no answer. Thank you for thinking of her!

I will NEVER get it even if I live to be 100. “Because it’s the rules,” is always the WRONG answer. I know you already know there are many of us out here praying for your little girl to come home. If there is anything anyone else can do to help, please let me know? Is Fu Ji going to be coming home with her Jie Jie??? : )

Just finished reading Silent Tears (came across it on amazon) and came here to see whet I can do to help. I am moved to prayer for children who are “unadoptable.” Before reading the book I truly had no idea that so many children on the other side of the world simply need love. Thank you Kay for your work. It is working!! Gods hand is upon you.

What a beautiful girl Xiaou Gou is! Obviously God has huge plans for her as well!

Kay, I just finished reading your book. I couldn’t wait to get to your website to see what happened with Xiao Gou. I am just heartbroken that after all these years, she is still in an orphanage. I am thrilled and overjoyed that you have found her, and you are still advocating for her. Keep fighting! You are such an inspiration and we are all with you in spirit. I will pray for her and you. I know the future is bright; I can just feel it.

Kay, loved your story and I was so surprised that this still is happening today! Xiao Gou is so cute and sweet, I can’t imagine anyone being so mean to her. Keep fighting and let us know how things are going for her! I will keep her and all the little lost ones in my prayers.
