Kay Bratt & Puss In Boots Giveaway Thank You!

Written by Kay on . Posted in Contests and Give-A-Ways

As many of you know, I have a few published books. Huh? What? Oh…you knew that, don’t play around. *wink* And many of you have graciously bought, borrowed or won my books and then graciously taken the time to review them on Amazon.

This giveaway is to thank YOU for that.

If you have reviewed any of my books, please comment below which ones and where you reviewed it to get your name in the pot to win:

Puss in Boots Blu-Ray, Puss in Boots~The Three Diablos~ DVD, And Puss in Boots Beanie Baby

A 2nd winner will win a signed copy of my children’s book, “Mei Li and the Wise Laoshi”, autographed to the child(ren) of choice!

YOU STILL HAVE TIME to do reviews if you haven’t already! Your name goes in for each review, so you have the ability to have your name in 4 seperate times for reviewing each of my 4 books; Silent Tears, Chasing China, The Bridge or the Mei Li book.

The drawing will be in two weeks. That gives anyone currently reading a Kay Bratt book time to finish and review on Amazon.

And again..thank you. I hope my gratitude shows!

    Hi Kay,

Cool give-away! My 5 year old was at the store with her Daddy today and was bummed that he didn’t purchase Puss n Boots for her.

Anyway, I’ve reviewed both Silent Tears and Chasing China on Amazon (my A.com name is chinamom0608). I have also read (and loved) The Bridge, but haven’t gotten around to reviewing it (at least I don’t remember if I did!).

    Hi Kay,

Loved reading your book Chasing China, it resonated with me because my daughter is a “Mia” also and I wonder if she will want to do a homeland visit someday! The first book I put on my Kindle Fire was The Bridge (awesome, by the way), and my kids each have their own copies of Mei-Li and the Wise Laoshi. I have shared them all on Facebook. I want to read Silent Tears now! Thanks for all you do for those who still wait.

Hi Kay…I bought the Kindle version of Mei-Li and the Wise Laoshi. I *think* I reviewed it on Amazon or Facebook…I’ll have to go look and see! It really is a terrific story about adoption! When Kaelie and I read it for the first time, Kaelie asked me why I was crying!

I purchased Silent Tears onto my Kindle device. Though I do not have any experience with abanded children and orphanges, I have met some neighbors who have successfully adopted their 2nd child from China. After interacting with both of their adopted children, I see a little of their past and love them more for it. Unfortunately they are moving out of state soon so I will have no more playdates with them.

Kay, I previewed Silent Tears a long time ago, supposedly winning a copy of your next book. I never received it. My review told of a family member who adopted from China as well as my best friend’s daughter and how meaningful the book was to them and how much I learned and loved the book. I have since read Chasing China and The Bridge, both on my kindle and have thoroughly enjoyed both. My son and daughter-in-law are teachers in Shanghai and I visit several times a year, learning more and more about the people and the country. Several of their fellow teachers have adopted orphans and have returned to the states to live. I wish you well in your endeavors and applaud for your continued work with the children. Ida Bailey

    Hi Ida,

First, thank you so much for all of your support for my books. I really appreciate it and especially every review and recommendation.

I’m sorry if you were a winner that didn’t receive your book. I can’t recall if you won a giveway, can you tell me which one it was? (I’ll look through my posts later tonight) I’ve done a lot of giveaways and given many prizes and books over the years. The only ones that were never sent out (which if I remember right were only maybe 2) were when the winners didn’t respond back to me with a physical address after their names were posted on the blog and fb as winners. I’ve even sent prizes all over the world and gotten responses that they arrived just fine!

So again, I’m sorry if you were indeed a winner of a prize that never made it. I’ll go through my giveway posts and my records for books sent last year, and see if I can find which one you won. Or if you have the link to it, please send to me via the ‘Contact me’ tab at the top. And lucky you for having kids in Shanghai to have an easy place to land to visit!
