Kay Bratt GiveAway Pagoda Dress!

by Kay on February 12, 2010

Fly Away Home Boutique has probably got the most adorable China inspired line of clothes I’ve ever seen and the amazing part of it has to be the fact it is completely organized, orchestrated and fulfilled by one tenacious mom! This mom has turned to her life-long love of sewing to alleviate the financial part of her dream that brought her daughters home from China. Now this mom of four (two away at college) uses her basement as her design shop, her daughters as her models and their heritage as the inspiration to create some of the prettiest clothes you’ll ever see.

Jen has agreed to donate one of her most popular dresses to a Kay Bratt GiveAway! The dress will be custom made to your specific size requirement (up to a girl’s Size 8). All you have to do to get in the drawing for this Pagoda Dress is two things: First leave a comment on this post here at my website, then follow the link to Jen’s blog here and leave a comment on one of the posts you think is the cutest. Come back here Sunday night to find out who the winner is. (Randomly drawn from those who participated)

And please visit the website of Fly Away Clothing and support another IA family member by making a purchase that is sure to make your little one smile!

AND THE WINNER IS……. KAREN HERMAN!! Please use the Contact form to email me and I will connect you with Jen to discuss dress details)

Valerie February 12, 2010 at 1:37 pm

What beautiful dresses and also what a cool story about a mom who found a financial way to bring home her dream and make other dreams come true! THAT is certainly some inspiration for the day! If I do get chosen in the drawing it will be a symbol of hope since I do not have a particular size to request at this time … but I do like to hope and dream.
I also wanted to let you know I referenced your book on a post today on our blog and also a photo from the sweater post you made earlier this year/late last year. What a blessing it was to see one of those beautiful children in a sweater we sent. (That was an encouragement to see what I had of course imagined … but to actually see it … that was sweet.) Thank you again for writing your book. It was one year ago almost to the day that I started reading it.
Blessings!
Valerie

I have been on Amazon trying to order your book – why is it not release until MARCH? (I DO have instant gratification issues, yes) Anyways, I read excerpts at a friends’ house this past weekend & wanted to order it..I guess maybe God is trying to teach me something by “allowing” me to wait :)
