I was just doing some catch-up reading on your blog & wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I haven't met you in blog land... :) however, I think we have mutual friends! I think we all share a common bond.. with our love for orphans! My husband & I adopted our beautiful Faith from Guizhou China in June of 2007. She is truly a HUGE blessing to our family and we love her so very much.. fact is.. I don't know what we did without her in our life?!! ;) Did you say.. "settled- in" Georgia? As in.. the deep south? lol!! I too am from Georgia, and our church just started an orphan ministry. We are very excited about it and what God has in store for using us in the lives of many orphans all over! It was a really special time when we lived there. I don't know if it would be the same if we went back......but I would love to go for about a month and just see old friends again. I miss the babies.....which aren't babies anymore I guess. Time marches on. I would love to hold Xiao Gou again.....and hear her sweet little voice...."Baba Fang Pi !!" ...............LOL.
