I have a precious niece, who we adopted from China in 2008. I was blessed to be able to travel with my sister, brother in law & nephew, to bring her home. She is an absolute joy and brings so much light to our lives. I’ve been considering some “volunteer vacation” options & just finished reading “Silent Tears” on the recommendation of a friend… The latest update was from 2009 in the book, so I rushed to google “Xiao Gou” and am OVERWHELMED with joy on her behalf to find she is now with her forever family!!!

I just finished Silent Tears and I had to check out Kay’s website. I was so delighted to read that you, Xiao Gou-Mia were finally adopted. You definitely had an angel (Kay) looking out for you and God Bless her for that. You are a beautiful girl, Mia.
